“Visionary Single Parenting: Encouragement for Single Parents” is a 4 part video series designed to provide support and guidance to single parents. The series is also a valuable resource for churches looking to assist single moms and dads. The sessions are designed to help single parents create a clear plan for passing their faith onto their children and provide encouragement from God’s word to overcome everyday challenges.

Each session is about 40 minutes in length and covers important topics such as prioritizing building a strong relationship with your children, leading your family in worship, understanding forgiveness, fighting in the spiritual realm, and disciplining in a way that disciples. Each session is filled with biblical principles and practical ways to grow and strengthen your family’s faith and relationship with God. This video series is sure to be a blessing and encouragement to single parents and will provide the tools needed to help their children grow in faith and character.

Session Overviews

Average Length: 40 minutes

Session 1: First Things First
The series begins with a message of encouragement for single parents to prioritize building a strong relationship with your children in order to help them build a strong relationship with God. The mission of single parenting can be overwhelming. Understanding God’s purpose for you, as a parent, will give you peace and help you set priorities.

Session 2:  Family Worship
God has called you to spiritually lead and guide your children. Nothing is more important for your family than spending time together in prayer and in God’s Word. In this session, you will be equipped and encouraged with key Scriptures and practical ways you can grow in family worship with your kids.

Session 3: Anger & Forgiveness
Every family experiences pain, hurt, and grief. The enemy seeks to use anger, bitterness, and resentment to harden our hearts, and the heart of our children toward God. In this session, you will grow in your understanding of forgiveness and learn how God can help your children break free from anger.

Session 4: The Spiritual Battle
We are in a spiritual battle for the hearts of our children. In this session, you will be equipped with five biblical prayer strategies to fight, in the spiritual realm, for your children, for their faith, and for your family.
